Well then it looks like we've both found our /Nirvana/ :) I do admit,
following the WebXP PD to it's fullest extent has the potential to
produce some verbose XSL. And though I still disagree with some of your
assertions about flexibility, I also recgonize that we both have
different goals we are trying achieve (easier deployment across
disparaging platforms vs being able to make logic decisions in a "true"
programming language).
So, going back to your original post:

It sounds like you are aware of the objections, and it just makes better
business sense for you to not follow it to its complete strictness.
Which sounds like a darn good reason to me.
