This question is better asked on the fitnesse mailing list, not this one. The fit-dev mailing list is for the further development of the core FIT package, and has only a loose relationship with FitNesse. However, two answer your question, they serve two rather different needs. The program named in TestRunner is used to invoke FIT. Virtual Wiki is used to allow the same Wiki data base to be used by a number of developers, each with their own sandbox.
