SCons mailing lists are moving to tigris.org

Due to continuing problems with the SourceForce mailing lists, we are moving all
of the SCons mailing lists to tigris.org. We will be moving the mailings lists
in phases. The first phase, which starts now, is to open up the new lists for
subscriptions. The second phase, which will happen in one week (March 14, 2004), 
is to disallow all posting to the old sf.net lists and open up posting to the 
new tigris.org lists.  The final phase, which will happen at some time in the 
near future, is to move the sf.net list archives over to tigris.org and delete 
the old sf.net lists.

The list names are changing thusly:

[email protected] -> [email protected]

[email protected] -> [email protected]

[email protected] -> [email protected]

[email protected] -> [email protected]

[email protected] -> nothing, this list is going away

In addition, [email protected] is a new mailing list for automated
notifications and discussions of the projects reported issues/artifacts and
changes made to issues/artifacts.

To subscribe to any of these lists, send an email to
[email protected]. For example, to subscribe to
[email protected], send an email to [email protected]. If 
you are a member of the scons.tigris.org project, then you can also subscribe to 
  any of these lists via the web interface at:
	
	http://scons.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList

Please take a moment to subscribe to the lists you are interested in sometime in
the next week so that you don't miss out on any posts when we switch over.
Subscriptions will not be moved over to the new lists automatically.

P.S. FYI: The nice folks at gmane.org have been archiving a number of the scons
mailing lists at:

	http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.programming.tools.scons.announce
	http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.programming.tools.scons.devel
	http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.programming.tools.scons.user

These gmane.org archives are easily searchable and tend to be more reliable than
the sf.net archives.
