I will be merging from default to the python3-port branch on a regular basis resolving conflicts even if I don't progress the work directly. (Currently I am in a "get the Me TV rewrite started" phase.) I note though that some "conflicts" are actually just trailing whitespace. I wonder if we should have a policy of no trailing whitespace on the repositories. I am also going to undo the uses of six as I find them and run the futurize -1 on the code to see what it's approach is.
