Of course, I understand the Debian issue but don't understand the OS X 
issue.

*shrug* It works for me, and several other people from what I can tell, 
when used unchanged, but it is difficult to say which of the problems I 
am experiencing may be because I'm running on 2.3.

OK.  I don't think the MetaWeblog API has a way of specifying this, but 
certain other APIs (e.g. Movable Type) do.

They were disabled from before I upgraded PyDS, so they should still 
have been disabled.

Well, it doesn't work. :-)  Same error messages as before.  I'd be 
happy to take a closer look if I knew where to look.
