There are only few documentation pages. And none I know about that talk
about layout stuff. But it's actually quite easy: you have your PyDS data in
$HOME/.PyDS/ and there you have a subdirectory "templates". You can change
those templates to your needs. The *Template.tmpl are for the desktop and
the *Rendering.tmpl for the cloud. Their names tell you what their function
is.

Links are just normal HTML links - or do you think of links in the
navigation bar? Those are defined in the preferences/navigation panel.
