I did some work on the calldll win32 backend and managed to spot a bug in the mswgui
I don't have the homebox available right now, but if I remember correctly

at line 97
                if not isinstance(self.container.wrapper,WindowWrapper):

should be
                if not isinstance(self.proxy.container.wrapper,WindowWrapper):

it still doesn't pass test_shake (all the widgets move south-east), but at least it
doesn't traceback :)
