Qt weirdness in positioning...

In the interest of getting out the alpha zero (we _really_ ought to
get a release out soon, IMO) I again tried to run the tests on qtgui;
but the strangeness in positioning seems to be there still.

My experience is this: When I run (e.g.) test_button, it is positioned
up and to the left of the top-left corner of my screen. Does anyone
have a clue about why this happens?
