TypeError: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'version'


running through the latest tests I see the above for
test_openfiledlg.py.

This is caused by the ctmswgui Application class not doing the right
thing wrt arguments.

Is there a master lists somewhere of what the backends are supposed to
implement (with signatures)?
