Not exactly sure what you mean by "auto set," but there are two things in mind:

1. Default Values: Anygui currently has default values for most attributes.
2. Dynamic Layout: Anygui provides a plugin framework for layout components. Have a look at the genericgui.py in the backends, as it uses the dynamic layout functionality that anygui comes with. Note, however, that there seem to be dormant bugs in the layout code that were introduced by the new FBI (Frontend Backend Interface) design.
