That may well be. Just today, I talked to a guy (locally, at my
university) who had started using Anygui for a project. I mentioned to
him that there hadn't been much progress lately, and that if he was
aiming for completeness, he might want to consider some bigger
toolkit. His reply was basically twofold: "(1) but it works! and (2)
it's so simple!"

So Anygui isn't dead...

Something one could say about several projects, I suppose :)

I think that sounds great too. If you could get it into the standard
library somehow -- now *that* would be neat.

Yup. (Just answered this in another email -- I guess I'm reading stuff
backwards today.)
