The point is that this is a Distutils problem, not an Anygui problem;
at least as far as I can see. You could post a bug report to
distutils, perhaps.

Thanks. I still have faith in the goal and the long-term fate of the
project, although -- as you may well have noticed -- things are quite
slow at the moment. Thorough testing might speed up the upcoming alpha
release, though, so go ahead and thrash out those bugs :)

(And you might want to check out the TODO and KNOWN_BUGS files.)
