Hi Biopython team, I would like to make a meaningful contribution to Biopython, and I need your help. I have background in software engineering, computer science, and mathematics (I was a software engineer at Amazon for 2.5 years; I have degrees in computer science and mathematics), but I am new to bioinformatics. I am eager to learn, and I need help determining something useful to contribute to Biopython. Are there any specific bioinformatics programs, file formats, databases, or algorithms that I can add support for? I thought of adding support for splice site prediction. If this would be a good addition to Biopython, please let me know. I also saw several ideas in the tutorial such as adding support for the GenePop web service. I am also happy to contribute by fixing bugs/issues or improving or optimizing existing code. Please let me know which ideas may be the most useful, and I am happy to work on them. Thank you, Will Tyler _______________________________________________ Biopython mailing list - [email protected] https://mailman.open-bio.org/mailman/listinfo/biopython
