RC2 went quickly, I failed to notice some test failures on Python 2.3.7
in Hudson before I tagged rc2.

Anyways, I've corrected the errors and I'm pleased to report that *all*
tests are passing in *all* 2.xx release of Python (I have Hudson test,
2.3.7, 2.4.6, 2.5.4, 2.6.2). don't beleive me? See for yourself :)

I anticipate this will be the final release candidate of v2.2.0 and
provided that internal testing as well as community testing goes well, I
will release this on monday the 18th.
