Not understanding session expiration

I set my sessions expiration and cleanup to 1 minute to test it out. I put an object into the session that opened a socket, but while the session expired, the object is still alive. I know this because the __del__ method never got called (I put a print "object deleted" message in there and never got it) and the socket stays alive. Also I have no other references to the object that might keep it alive. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "cherrypy-users" group.
