主题: [Quixote-users] Report In: 5 Million Requests/Day on a dual-coreserver

Report in from douban.com: 5 million page requests/day on our
dedicated Quixote server, and we just hit the CPU ceiling (30
process) . We just added one additional server, and will upgrade to
quad-core Opteron.
We use a linux/mysql/memcached/quixote/scgi/lighttpd stack. Since we
are a SNS with an extensive recommendation engine, most of the
requested pages contain multiple types of content classes, and some
needs heavy personalization (sort, set union, etc)。
Quixote is the most worry-free layer of the stack. Thank you again to
the Quixote team.
- Bo
