class MyCipher:

        def __init__(self):
                self.key = '01234567890123456789012345678901'
                self.iv = '01234567890123456789012345678901'
                self.cipher = AES.new(self.key, AES.MODE_CBC, self.iv)

        def encrypt(self,id):
                return cipher.encrypt(id)

cipher = MyCipher()
cipher.encrypt('foo');

Gives me the error:

ValueError: IV must be 16 bytes long

The block size of AES is always 16 bytes, so the IV must also always be 16
bytes.
