I'm not sure it is a good idea. It might well be that you are right. I'm willing to support the experts with all that's necessary to understand my case. The problem is that the whole setup is quite complex, involving a server component that you can talk to using the library under discussion. As I'm running this in vmwares on my machine at home, it should even be possible to get someone to connect to this vmware if this helps in solving the issue. So far, I've not been convinced that pasting the whole header files makes an awful lot of sense. This morning I started to collect a more complete example (but still not pasting the whole header file) where you can see side-by-side python and C header files. But it is quite a time consuming task, with many structs referencing others... I'll post as soon as I'm finished.
