As far as I can see from the paper, the only thing I'm not doing is
using the -l switch to xml2py. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to do
anything. Also unfortunately, your paper doesn't help, as the only
reference to -l consists of a reference to an undefined variable in
the middle of some code.

It looks as though there's useful code in your paper; have you
considered getting it added to ctypeslib? It would be much more useful
there.
