If no-one else is interested, I'd be happy to be a maintainer of last
resort. That is, I'd be happy to accept patches, do some testing, and
make releases, though I have no plans for development and I'm not a
Python or ctypes expert.

One other good approach might be to anoint successor projects, and
kill this one; depending on what you want to do, ctypesgen, cython,
sip and boost.python look like possible ways to go. No point spreading
the community's effort too thin...
