Hi *,

the fourth alpha of psycopg 2 has been packaged and uploaded to
initd.org. it can be downloaded from

  http://initd.org/pub/software/psycopg/ALPHA/psycopg-1.99.4.tar.gz

The main addition for this release is the support of python 2.3 datetime
module, used as the default typecaster when available. I did not tried
that, but building _without_ mx.DateTime should be possible starting
from this release. Both datetime and mx.DateTime are supported in the
Python->PostgreSQL conversion and PostgreSQL->Python typecast objects
are provided for both modules.
