Version Compatibility

I would like to know if/what version to use with PostgreSQL 8.4.2.  The Install file with psycopg2 says that it requires PostgreSQL at least v8.0  The download file description (http://stickpeople.com/projects/python/win-psycopg/) has a note saying 8.4.1.  

Does the 2.0.13 (For Python 2.6) titled psycopg2-2.0.13.win32-py2.6-pg8.4.1-release.exe work for PostgreSQL 8.4.2 also?

My intent is to use this with Trac and SVN with Apache.

BTW, what is the debug build for?
