Yep.  I was looking for that but when I didn't find it I tried
connecting and everything just worked.

I wonder if there's too much overhead to justify using a non-SSL
connection when there's SSL available...  Isn't the order configurable
somewhere for the library used?  Here mine tries SSL first and then it
tries connecting without SSL...
