You didn't post the actual errors before you got the missing defines.
Send them to me via private email and I'll have a look.  I am referring

No the windows section is seperate.  The first line was for using gcc as
the compiler which will be the case on Linux.  The alternative was for
non-gcc compilers such as folks on BSD.
