Roger,

   I use the same approach to saving data from widget displays to the SQLite
database throughout the application. That's why the response with the grid
data threw me. Once I can identify the source of the problem I can address
that and a dictionary is not necessary. (That would require a major rewrite
of the entire application, too.)
