Really, I promise, my production code does it right, this was just a minimal
sample :-) I had a much longer test case that did the full transaction dance
and had timeout/exception handling, and the problem still showed up. I tried
adding the setbusytimeout() and it is still not working. I made a pysqlite
equivalent test, and it does the same thing. I think it must be down at the
SQLite level (or lower?). I need to investigate this some more, because it
sounds like no one else is seeing this problem. I'll post back to the list
if I figure something out.
