One might construe the request as a requirement to search the 'releases' or 'tags' page of a github repository, using some to-be-defined heuristic to map the release / tag names onto versioned project names. It wouldn't work for the general case (tags / releases can have arbitrary names). Maybe *worse* is that the tags / releases can be removed / replaced.
