I asked the same question a couple weeks ago, and have gotten no response.
Like you, my reason for using f2py is to share the code.  The issue appears
to be required libraries that are missing when the shared object is ported
to another machine.  I've had minimal success gathering the missing dlls and
sending them with my shared object.  A coworker suggested there might be a
way to do this through Cygwin, but I have not yet investigated.

At this time, I think my best option is to forego f2py altogether and just
run my fortran modules as executables.  I'd certainly rather use f2py!
Please share if you find a solution.  I will do the same.
