URL validator port bug

Hi -- At the risk of being a pain in the neck or other region, I'd like to call attention to this bug, which has been languishing for some time but I think is sort of important: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1457145&group_id=91231&atid=596416 The URL validator doesn't deal correctly with URLs with explicit ports. To me this seems like a straightforward bug fix which should be applied (a one-byte fix, at that). In production I include it with a patch (upgrading to 0.6 reminded me that it was still out there).
