Paypal formencode validator

Hey,

I wonder if someone has ever  worked on a validator for checking whether
a payment made using paypal has been approved?

I plan to write  a validator if nobody has ever write  one, do you think
it  could be  interesting  to add  the  validator I  will  write to  the
formencode source? It will  use IPN (Instant Payment Notification) which
works this way:

1/  User 'foo'  want  to make  a payment  on  the website  'bar' and  is
   redirected to the paypal website.

2/ Once the user leaves paypal, it is redirected to 'bar' and if IPN has
   been enabled in the 'bar' paypal account, then IPN will POST the
   transaction informations.

3/ Then, using IPN, it is possible to check whether the payment has been
   approved.
