Schemas and SQLAlchemy

Has anyone had any luck feeding a mapped SQLAlchemy
Entity (or 'model') into a Schema.from_python()?  

Essentially, I'm trying to preset the values of a form
using the fields of a table and need the from_python
to translate the table field types to the way the form
wants them.

Anybody done anything similar?
