I thought Grouch seemed like a good idea, but I never came around to use it. As I described on the ZODB-dev mailing list yesterday, I sit now with a database that actually contains things that I'm not fully in control of. I still think Grouch is a good idea, and I do think that using it (if it works as I think it does) would be a good thing. Not only to stop accidents, but also to give a collected picture of my object model. As it is now, each part of my system is fairly understandable...but I don't have a birds eye perspective of all details. Especially not how they change over time, and old data might live on in the database. Obviously the itch hasn't been painful enough yet... --=20 Magnus Lyck=E5, Thinkware AB =C4lvans v=E4g 99, SE-907 50 UME=C5 tel: 070-582 80 65, fax: 070-612 80 65 http://www.thinkware.se/ mailto:[email protected]
