[/quote] To be honest, I interpreted Jessica as saying the opposite. That IDLE was not good enough for the *beginners* in her novice class. And that one of the barriers to entry to python in general was the lack of a good entry level development environment. I don't think this about professional programmers missing "advanced" features.
