Backslash on IDLE results to Yen symbol

Hi,

How can I get IDLE to show a backslash instead of a yen symbol? I have no
problems with this when I'm using notepad++ and python shell (please see
attached file). I have tried different key combinations such as alt, ctrl
and fn with backslash key but none of them works.

I am running IDLE version 3.5.0.
