This is with a seed stage startup in New York City, a 4 person dev team. The
Founder is someone who built a very successful internet startup in the 90's
which is a household brand. Along with some angel investors the founder has
been able to fund this entire venture, so they don't need VC backing. The
office is gorgeous, with lots of natural sunlight, and they've got a solid
benefits package for such an early startup, which is rare. This is a chance
to get in as an early member with a very promising team and the product is
fun -- blending education and finance and gaming all in one.
Backend Python Developer 90-130k: Must have at least 2 years python
programming and 4+ years total experience. Needs to have worked with a web
framework like Django, Flask, Tornado or similar. They are re-writing the
entire platform (currently in Rails) to Python.
