Provide the technical lead for web application and system development on 
key systems and products related to the Bio-medical industry.

Provide strong and effective project management to the assigned 
projects. Provide the project team with a structured and effective 
development methodology that allows for the appropriate design, testing, 
development, documentation, and implementation of the applications and 
supporting systems.

Develop requirements for projects and review with users to ensure 
project meets current needs and provides flexibility for future business 
needs. Prepare detailed specifications from which applications will be 
developed. Develop and monitor project schedule to ensure requirements 
are met in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring project quality 
assurance.

Coordinate system implementation by planning and monitoring system 
testing and conversion to ensure a smooth conversion to new versions. 
Meet with clients to evaluate and determine compliance with 
specifications and requirements.

Determine staffing needs, delegate work assignments and coach 
development team to ensure that systems are implemented according to 
specifications. Instruct, direct and check the work of project team 
members. Supervise the performance and development of staff by 
communicating and providing feedback to improve performance. Ensure that 
project team members are cross-trained in all application areas for 
which team is responsible. Provide prompt resolution of software 
problems according to established standards and procedures. Participate 
in Systems Development Planning.

Maintain full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems 
analysis and development. Design and write efficient, complicated 
modules or complex programs to meet client requirements. Ensure that 
project documentation is created, meets standards, and is properly 
maintained according to established standards and procedures, to 
facilitate ongoing support and maintenance. Maintain an in-depth 
knowledge of the industry needs to facilitate communication regarding 
user's requirements. Monitor systems and procedures and make 
recommendations for improvement to ensure the team functions in a 
cost-effective and efficient manner. Monitor cognizance of industry 
trends and new products to evaluate opportunities for achieving maximum 
effective usage of client’s investment in the technology.

Other Responsibilities Confidentiality and security - Maintain 
confidentiality of information and security of company assets. Prevent 
any unauthorized attempts to obtain corporate information, corporate 
assets and access to restricted areas... Management Reports - Prepare 
monthly status report and other management reports in a timely and 
accurate manner.

Teamwork - Promote, maintain and encourage a close working relationship 
and a team effort with all members of the team and the client’s 
personnel involved in the work assignments.

Project Budget manage to the project budget and ensure efficient 
assignment and use of resources

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises approximately 3-5 employees in Application 
Development. Adhere to supervisory responsibilities in accordance with 
policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, 
hiring, and training employees planning, assigning, and directing work 
appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees addressing 
complaints and resolving problems.
