Sales Engineer, East Coast | 65-75k + Commission

My client, an industry leading software integration firm has immediate
opening for a Sales Engineer.  Location is not an issue since you will
be traveling 60% of the time, but candidates on the East coast are
preferred. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the end-to-end technical component of the sales cycle, including: 
* Product presentations, demonstrations, product evaluations, pilot
deployments and production implementations. 
* Install software builds provided by the development team, assist
with testing and debugging 
* Communicate to engineering as accurate a view of the market as
possible. 
* Address technical questions regarding product functionality and
deployment issues
* Contribute to Request for Proposal responses 
* Attend regional conferences, tradeshows, and events, to develop
relationships with developers, and better understand their environment. 
* Investigate and describe the IT departments (technology, skills,
culture) of the key prospective clients, so that engineering has an
adequate picture of the environments we will be deploying in.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 
* 3+ years software engineering/sales engineering experience. 
* Java and Python experience 
* Open Office API 
* XML for documents 
* CMS principles, UI design 
* Exception written and spoken command of English 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
* Extensive travel required, 60%+
