This list has been very quiet, which I think is just fine. I've floated a hypothesis that legitimizes our retirement: http://pythonology.blogspot.com/ However, please do keep posting news items here. It's valuable to have a place to post news of Python's triumphs. Finally, if you care about Python, please consider donating to the Python Software Foundation. We're protecting Python legally, funding Python-related development with grants, and -- believe it or not -- have a credible (funded) python.org redesign effort under way. Details on the PSF are here: http://python.org/psf You can donate by check, credit card, or paypal. Sorry, I'm going to have a tendency to become Annoying Man on the donate-to-the-PSF issue, as we try to take the grants program from its current fledgling state to significant force in Python's development. Just to give some ideas: If 10% of all Python programmers each gave $10/year, we'ld have a $750,000/year budget. So your donations do potentially go a long way! Thanks, - Stephan
