thinking of a project as a marketing opportunity. After all, it's a
numbers game.
Projects that might be considered (haven't looked at download sizes for
these, but I'd guess they're much bigger than a core-code hacking tool
like PyRex):
* popy, pypgsql, psycopg
* PyGame
* WebWare, Quixote
* Scientific Python/Numpy
* mxBase (eGenix probably wouldn't be too keen on using this though)
* Paint Shop Pro
* Any of the games with Python embedded
and for buzzword "heat", any of the .NET wrappers, the Nokia SDK,
etceteras are probably good opportunities once they get to maturity.
