Concat with a constant

Is there some neat way to concatenate a signal with a constant?

Clearly, one can use ConcatSignal with a pair of signals, one of which 
can be driven every cycle with a clock cycle, but this seems rather 
inelegant (though I dare say it would be optimised out).
