Fixed-point status?

Hi, new mailing-list subscriber here.

A couple years back there was a flurry of discussion about a fixed-point
data type (fixbv proposed in MEP-111), but google doesn't find much in the
past year.  I haven't been following myhdl closely, but it was been on my
to-do list to sit down and learn it.  Lack of fixed-point is the main thing
holding me back as my interest in FPGAs is pretty much limited to DSP and
SDR stuff.  Anyone know if the fixbv effort is still moving forward?
