This is an odd error.. Under Windows Vista I get no hardware acceleration in PyOpenGL, using pygame and PyOpenGL 3.0.0.a6
PyOpenGL 2.0, $Date: 2004/11/14 23:33:24 $ The binary distribution seems to work.
