We're sorry, but as mentioned on the registration page, we
are still waiting for the UK tax office to issue us a VAT ID.
Without this we cannot issue invoices for the tickets.

We are now investigating whether we can start sales without
issuing invoices, but this won't happen before the end of the
talk voting on Sunday.

That's why we have documented the current status quo in the
announcement and on the talk voting page:

>> To be eligible to vote for talks, you need to be a submitter of talks
>> and everyone who attended one of the previous year’s EuroPython
>> conferences.

Next, we'll know better and start this whole "find an accountant
and start the tax registration" process much earlier. We'd never
have thought this to take more than 5 months - we started the
quest in January.
