Hi all,

I'd like to let you know about a small event I'm staging from 23-25
September

    https://python-by-the-sea.org/

It's a Python unconference, so the topics are decided by those
attending, at the start of event. The venue maxes out at 40, but I'll
probably limit numbers to about 30 to maximise comfort - this is not
primarily a money-making enterprise, but an opportunity to make new friends
in the Python community and perhaps meet old ones.

Should there be a financial surplus I'll be donating it to the family of
Michael Foord, a long-term Python contributor who died this year, and whom
I'm sure was known to many of you. Although Michael will be sadly missed,
I'm already looking forward to seeing others from the Python world that I
haven't met for at least two years.
