selector in pyobjc

Hello,

Try to translate the following code to PyObjC
(https://github.com/shpakovski/Popup/blob/master/Popup/MenubarController.m),
but I have a question about how to translate the line number 20 of the
selector

_statusItemView.action = @ selector (togglePanel:);

Does not work with

statusItemView.action (selector (togglePanel))
