Virtual keyboard recommendations

Hi all
in a near future I'll need to move a standard pyqt5 application for x86 
to a system with touchscreen only.
Given that most of the UI is already designed for touch interactions I 
will neverthless need an OS-independent onscreen keyboard.
Do you have any suggestions on the topic?
