Hi all

A couple of months ago I was struggling to get an app, written in Python using PyQt5, running on my Android phone.

I had a real hard week.

It was getting even harder to get an app based on QML running.

Also it was not that easy to change the icon and the screen showing at startup.

Luckily I was able to manage it all.

Then I had the idea to write a book about that so that you don't have to fight your way again to Android as I did.

In my ebook (Python GUI) I am explaining each step necessary to get an app based on PyQt5 running on Android and Linux.

You can find my book at Amazon searching for Python GUI - Develop Cross Platform Gui Applikations using Python, Qt and PyQt5.

(Unluckily this book has become a one star rating. Maybe it's from a concurrent. Please allow yourself to make your own experience)

There is also a German version.

Python GUI - Erstellelle Cross Plattform GUI Applikationen mit Python, Qt und PyQt5.

I have also some applications on github which you may use as samples or inspiration.

FlatSiteBuilder is based on Jinja and is used to create websites for github.io where you can host content for free.

The EbookCreator I have written only to be able to write my ebook. It's based on Jinja and Markdown.

Have fun

Art
