Well, as I replied earlier, you *can* show the remote traceback if you 
tell your code to do so. See the instructions in the Pyro manual :)

(the reason it is not shown by default is that I decided to not 
interfere with the default way Python shows exception messages and their 
traceback. The remote traceback information is stored in an attribute on 
the exception object, and can be shown by using the getPyroTraceback 
function, for instance).
