Very,very to install it on Windows system, just follow it!

 

1) Check if your Firewall don't prevent Pyro to run

 

2) Check in Windows: "c:\Python\lib\site-package\Pyro4\configuration.py",
open this file and put True by remove False at the line:

self.FLAME_ENABLED=True

 

3) create your batch and use this line: python -m Pyro4.utils.flameserver -H
192.168.*.* -p ***

 

p is the port, check whether your firewall don't block it….

I just installed Pyro 4.22 on a Mac, a Linux Ubuntu machine and a Windows 7
PC.

On Mac I can start the name server, on Linux and Windows I get the above
error.

 

Any clues?

 

By the way, Pyro looks very promising, I can't wait to make stuff with it!
