Sorry for replying to myself, but I'm just now looking at some of the specs of the
hardware board that the guy is making micropython for.
It seems that it lacks a NIC of any shape but it does include USB. I have no clue if he
is going to make it possible to stick a NIC (wifi dongle?) in that and provide a TCP/IP
stack that you can access with the socket module. If not, I don't see how Pyro is ever
going to be useful on this device...
